The Good News
God Loves You.
He has a plan for your life.
Nothing you can do in this very moment will make God love you any more or any less than He already does or ever will.
Scripture says:
"...neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:38-39
Trust the Shepherd
“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?
And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbours together and says,
‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’
I tell you that in the same way, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”
Luke 15:4-7
Searching?
Are you tired of this journey you have been on?
Do you find yourself wondering what is the purpose of this challenging reality called life?
Perhaps the mess of sin in your life and the consequences that follow have become too much.
Has the quest to fill that empty void in your life become exhaustingly pointless?
You are not alone my friend.
Truth
-
You were made on purpose, for a reason.
-
Your mistakes are never too big for God.
-
You can trust Him with your future and heal your past.
-
You were made with a God-shaped hole in your heart; nothing else will fill that aching void but Him.
God knows your deepest sorrows, pain and regret. He wants a better life for you.
"For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it."
Matthew 16:25
Rest
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30
Prayer
"Heavenly Father, I confess my sins to you; forgive me.
Thank you for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who paid the penalty for my sins.
Teach me your ways.
I give you my life. Reign in my life."
Now What?
Now you heal. Now you grow. Now you begin to shine His Light.
Read His word; it will feed your soul and renew your mind.
Psalm 119:105 says "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."
Pray, pray, pray... Keep in constant conversation with God. He is right there with you. His Holy Spirit now dwells in you. "...Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38. Share with Him your fears and victories, your worries and concerns. Constantly pray for strength and wisdom. The enemy wants you back; you need to be on guard.
Trust Him. Have faith in God. I am speaking from experience, God is good, and His mercy endures forever. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
Praise Him. He is worthy. "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."
Psalm 100:1-5
Connect with other believers. Try finding a local church or group to connect with other believers. Share with them your journey to Christ. They will pray for you, and encourage you. 1 Thess. 5:11 says "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up."

Made Alive in Christ
As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
